Update & Experimental Look

Hello! It has been so long since my last blog post, too long! Moving house turned out to be more stressful than imagined, it has literally drained me. I always tired these days, even more so than before, which I did not think was possible.

So I’ve now fully settled in, and have the internet! Woooo! Cannot wait to catch up on everyone’s blog posts, I’ve missed my daily blog dose ha. I’m really loving the new house, the stress was definitely worth it.

Now, to the make-up! I’ve always been hesitant to be adventurous with my make-up. I’d go for the nude look every time, a few coats of mascara and some foundation. It’s probably because I am pretty much incapable of getting up in the morning. If it doesn’t get to the stage where I have to get up, then I just don’t. So I rarely get enough time to make myself look pretty. I have always wanted to branch out into the world of eyeshadows, but my awkward eyelids and my awful application stop me from even trying most of the time. I do however like playing with make-up when I'm bored, so here's a look I came up with!

Please excuse the mascara flakes, it was a spur of the moment thing! Ha... I'm not very good at picking complementary colours at the moment, but I  thought, a pink/silver/grey mix would be nice. Because my eyes are on the long side, I decided to accentuate the length whilst attempting, albeit badly, to make my eyes rounder using the silver. I'm content with the result, it's quite subtle. I still have a long long way to go, but reading blogs and watching youtube videos certainly help a lot! Maybe one day I'll be confident enough to go out with eyeshadow on haha.

I recently bought the Rimmel 25 hour foundation, and I must say, I love it. I'll write a review once I've used it for a while!

Last but certainly not least, there's a tag post that I still need to do. I got tagged by the lovely Aya just before I lost my internet connection, I will get round to it soon-as!
