Review: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion

Hey! This is the second instalment of my Clinique reviews, this one will be on the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. Click here for my review on the Clinique High Impact Lip Colour in Rosette.

I initially wanted to use this product for my hands, because they are horribly dry and sore. I use E45 on them usually, and it works, but it leaves my hands greasy and doesn't really improve the condition of my hands. I wondered whether the Dramatically Different lotion will really be dramatically different.

Clinique says:
Skin's moisture "drink". Helps replenish lost moisture. Skin looks fresher and healthier. Leaves no residue. Safe to use around eye area. Comforts and smooths the skin.

The lotion is for very dry to dry combination skin, which is perfect for my hands. It is more watery than the creams that I am used to, and I really like how it feels on the skin during application. It glides on really smoothly, and is absorbed quickly, leaving the skin feeling satin soft. My skin seriously drinks this stuff, no joke. Since the product glides so easily, not a lot is needed.

The product did work in the short term, but I did not notice any long term improvements. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from the product, since it doesn't claim to improve

There is an alternate gel formulation, which is for oily to very oily skin. That would be great for my face...the product being safe for use around the eyes is also a bonus!

This product makes your skin feel divine on application, I just wish its effects could be longer lasting.

Rating: 4/5
Repurchase: Hmmm...maybe...

I've been slacking recently...I've not really taken care of my blog. Exams are coming up you see, these are the ones that'll decide which university I end up going to..so I might neglect blogging for a while now! Sorry in advance. I'll do lots and lots of lovely posts as soon as it's all over...and in the mean time I'll just stick to reading other people's posts in my little break! (How industrious haha).

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! (Mmmmmm chocolate eggs hehe)

Much love,
Chuui

i use this every morning :) i really like it. dries pretty much on application - and like you mentioned - leaves a satin finish. i picked up a sample of the gel to see if it works better for my oily/combo skin. but on the whole, i have found clinique to be a pretty reliable brand for skincare - i've really enjoyed all of their products thus far! :)
